Rec 7
Summary
"Oh, Agent Dean," he said, sounding bored by the subject. "Yes, yes, I've been gentle as a lamb, I know how you are about him. Although I must say, getting to know him a little better hasn't done a thing to help me understand why that is. Deep underneath all that shallowness, there's a vast, untapped shallowness."

Summary
Brendan couldn't read her mind—at least, there was no quirk to his genes that would let him send his thoughts out to seek hers; no way for him to know how the fever Freya was running made her mind feel sluggish and slow, how each limb felt as if it were weighted down with lead.

Summary
Thoughtcrimes was one of the MANY unaired pilots Joe Flanigan did before SGA, and one that I reallyreallyREALLY wish had been picked up. This is a fluff piece of how I imagined it continued after the pilot.

Notes
A brilliant take on what could have eventually happened to Brendan and Freya. An excellent story!

Summary
Freya never went past second base with anyone in high school. Nervous, giggling fumblings were as far as she got before the world came crashing in on her, and touch became something to be avoided, feared, shunned like everything and everyone else.

Notes
Exquisite because it's not the common insertion narrative; it's about desire and learning to live within one's skin

Summary
He disapproves and she knows this even if he never says it. There's a lot of things like that between them.
