    AU. Branka never went after the Anvil of the Void, believing it all to be a myth. Upon killing Prince Trian (or so she believes) in the Proving, she starts to realize the enormity of her actions regarding Orzammar; not long after, she soon spirals into a severe madness that only one person is brave enough to bring her out of it. Her marriage is falling apart around her, and she cannot even stop to care, as the madness is threatening to consume her. As she relies more on Hespith to keep her sane, she starts falling hard for the woman--and worries that she'll break again before she can talk about this.
