Summary
"I thought we'd talked about you stalking me, Marcone."
"It's not stalking if I happen to be having dinner in a restaurant when you run by being chased by a monster movie reject. Coincidence at its worst."
"Stalker." I singsonged it under my breath. Cujo huffed but didn't say anything. "Well, job done here and all. If you could tell your moose to let me go? I'll be on my way."

Summary
(Book One of Matter of Chicago series) I tend to turn right by instinct when given a decision. Right-handed, evocate with my right side, and try to do the right thing.
But we've all done that, haven't we? Wondered what was going down in the universe next door. How one decision would shake up everything we knew.
What happens when we turn left.

Notes
Absolutely brilliant, I honestly forgot I was reading fanfiction. This story took a ship I don't usually sail and executed it flawlessly. Amazing job.

Summary
In an AU to Changes, Harry sold himself to John Marcone instead of Mab. They both take a while to adjust to this. Written for the Kinkmeme, for a prompt requesting both serious treatment of the issues and smut. Contains non-explicit reference to past child abuse and rape.

Boy meets girl, girl falls in love with boy, girl is secretly a wizard, girl kills mentor and faces White Council, has boy's baby. Not exactly the stuff of fairytales, but with Harriet Blackstone Copperfield Dresden so few things ever are. Even with the fairy godmother and company in tow.

Summary
Three years ago, Tony Vargassi died and left his flourishing criminal empire to his son Marco. Gang violence is rife in the streets, but Harry Dresden's concluded, reluctantly, that it isn't his kind of problem. He's about to find out that the real power behind Chicago's throne is a lot worse then a spoiled mobster's son -- and maybe more than he can handle.
John 'Johnny' Marcone is a mechanic with a bad limp and a bad history with Vargassi. He doesn't want to get back into the business of the Business; he barely escaped with his life before. But in Harry Dresden he sees enough raw power to save the city he loves. Will he risk it all to back his crazy friend against the powers that be?
And can Harry and his car survive what Chicago has in store for him, even with a full-time mechanic?

Summary
“It is a big deal Harry. Considering the huge amount of shit you've given me the past couple of years? I deserve an explanation.”
“I only gave you shit because you made such a big deal out of all the sex you were having! I mean, hell. It's smart to stay a virgin, especially if you're a wizard like us. All sorts of connections get made, pieces of auras get exchanged. It's very dangerous and complicated. But for fucks sake, own it. I don't lie about being a virgin. That's why I've been giving you shit. Because it bothered you.”
