How it first started he can't remember anymore. All he knows is that because of it he's propped against the door, his knees drawn up; his fingers shaking. His hair is hiding his large scared eyes. He cannot stop crying or shaking for that matter anymore. The last threat had made him lose the contents of his stomach into the toilet. He feels like he can't breathe- like he's drowning and feels so violated and oh so dirty. His black locks also hide the large purple bruise bite mark that he received earlier in the night along with other scars. He can still feel the blood drip down his leg as he moves.
There's a leather cuff, a D ring though it, hanging off his wrist. The cuff has a small keyhole, he hasn't figured out how to get it off yet, and he knows it's tracking where he is. He hasn't mentioned it to the others. He can't; his voice feels numb and he doesn't even know how he sings anymore. He tries to breathe calmly, but his breathing is sharp and heavy. He can feel his own tears slip down his cheeks but doesn't make a sound, not one sound.

His reflection isn't him he thinks. He's a tiny little thing much skinnier than before. His inky black locks falls against his shoulders, not strawberry pink anymore like it used to be. His hazel eyes are lifeless against the shards of glass that make up the mirror. His old Party Poison jacket and gun is locked in a truck he can't open in the closet even if he wanted to. Damned DNA locks.
His jacket is now black and crimson, the same symbols but the colors are death and despair. His black skinnies are tight against his skin, his eyes stare at the purple and angry bruise mark on his neck. A pair of hands wraps around his waist and he closes his eyes. He misses Frankie so much. He doesn't let the thought stay. "What is it pet?" The voice whispers against the former killjoy leader.
"Nothing sir." He lies; he hardly lies most of the time he can tell.
"You miss it don't you? You miss being a fighter." He whispers against the black haired leader. The killjoy swallows still not opening his eyes. "Gerard." The warning in his name makes his breath hitch.
"I'm sorry." Gerard whispers, his body has trembles though it. The amber eyes taunting him as his hazel ones stare in the mirror.

Gerard always thought that being a teenage delinquent and getting on the wrong side of the law would feel pretty hardcore. When he gets arrested and winds up doing community service, it doesn't feel hardcore at all. He just feels like he's disappointed his family and he doesn't know how to talk to Mikey any more. And even though his probation worker, Brian, is actually pretty nice, he has to do his service hours with Bert McCracken, a genuine badass who scares the crap out of him. No matter how many times Brian assures him that Bert only tackes Gerard to the ground every day because that's just his way of being friendly.
A story in which teenage Bert and Gerard learn to get on even though they both suck at saying what they mean, Bert helps Gerard to realise that his brother doesn't hate him at all, and a long-suffering Brian wishes they would both stop asking him for dating advice and just hook up already. -
