He was shifty, trying to hide something, while debating whether she should get up and move seats and get away from this weirdo, she realises that it is in fact esteemed actor, Benedict Cumberbatch. Isabel can't believe it.
What she doesn't know it that this seemingly one of a kind encounter may not be so one of a kind. -

Summary
It started with phone calls to a stranger. When dialing the wrong phone number, a simple woman who works at a school daycare genuinely connects with the polite man on the other end. Benedict and Marlene by chance agree to call again, not that Marlene expected this to ever happen. Or that she would find out one day that the man she shared countless phone conversations with would turn out to be Benedict Cumberbatch. She expected normalcy, and instead found Sherlock's best actor.
And Benedict got everything he wanted. A female friend, someone who could endlessly come up with a topic, who didn't mind if he went off in a rant. So when friendship turns into like, the kind akin to love, he struggles with how to make his move. Not knowing that Marlene likes him back and has liked him since before the moment they officially met.
Developing relationship story. It will carry on until the day that I think Benedict and Marlene have properly lived their lives. Or until they deserve a sequel. Please read and comment!

After Aubree presses the issue, Benedict confesses to feeling anything but sexy. Aubree is speechless, she knows that she's not in his league. Benedict could have any woman he wanted, so who is the mystery woman who has got her friend feeling so down? Naturally, being both a good friend and harbouring a secret attraction to him, Aubree tries to make Benedict see the error of his ways.
