Summary
Inspired by Disney's Beauty and the Beast.
This is the one where John is Beauty, because let's face it, an army man is always a good catch in a small village, especially when also a doctor, and Sherlock is the Beast, even though he does not look like it, his curse is just not as easy to understand as the traditional one (and his house is filled with things that talk, so something must be off)
There's lots of magic, a bit of adventure, mostly because in an enchanted palace strange things happen all the time, but this is mostly a story about true love.Last bookmarked by loscar

Summary
The claws, the fangs, they aren't important. All that really makes a Beauty is thinking you can't fix anyone; all that makes a Beast is thinking you can't be fixed. All that makes the story is both of them being wrong. No scoffing, you two--this is the only way to Happily Ever After. A oneshot Contemplation.

Years later, Charles would remember that day. Sometimes he would wonder if he could have changed anything; other times he would despair over what he had since become. But he would always hold the image in his mind: Raven, laughing, and his thoughts flying alongside her on strong wings, silver-gold through the winter air. Once upon a time.

Summary
The sensible Flora Pilkington is delighted to be asked to accompany her cousin Emily, a wealthy heiress, on a sojourn to Bath – even if seventeen-year-old Emily is something of a ninny-hammer. However, when the dashing but mysterious Lord Wolfe rescues Emily from Terrible Peril, causing her to fall quite in love with him, Flora becomes deeply suspicious. Just who is this Lord Wolfe? Why does he persist in winking at Flora in such a deeply uncouth manner? Why does he refuse to attend all evening engagements? And what is the insufferable man's dark, awful secret? (For she is quite convinced that he has one.) Flora determines to find out, whatever the danger to her reputation . . .
