One where no fish was brave enough to crawl up on land. One where the world ended in nuclear war...
Here is a world where Thomas and Martha Wayne didn't die. Here is one where Bruce died with them... and here, here is a parallel Earth where Thomas and Martha Wayne died, but Rachel Wayne survived.

It was a known fact that Gotham City was riddled with misplaced Sentinels and Guides, but the world knew that Batman aka Bruce Wayne resided as the Alpha Prime Sentinel, but none of this mattered to Timothy Jackson Drake who was a Beta Guide just trying to be a good Robin and keep his head down and away from sharp Sentinel noses. It was too bad that he never stayed away from the intent gaze of Dick Grayson who finally decided to settle down and find a Guide, a partner and eventually a husband.

Krypton wasn't destroyed. Kal-El never came to Earth to become Clark Kent/Superman, and it's time for him to let the Crown of Yuda find his mate. He was instructed to keep his thoughts clear but finds them drifting to a romantic legendary hero he has always admired.
Meanwhile on Earth, Bruce is faced with another New Year's Eve alone, and doesn't see that changing anytime soon.
Fate, by way of Kryptonian technology, is about to intervene.

Summary
This series is largely an excuse for me to play with my conception of the Batman universe. My views of these characters were initially shaped by the Timm/Dini-verse, and later by various factoids gleaned from fandom, and only minimally from the comics themselves. With the result, for example, that Cassandra-in-my-head comes almost entirely from the comics while Tim Drake comes almost entirely from Batman: The Animated Series.
You can see my dilemma. Any continuity I choose will be missing elements important to me. Unless I cherry pick rather shamelessly. Fortunately, comics like Batman, and all it's related, spin-off universes, practically beg for people to cherry-pick. After all, everyone knows Bruce Wayne is Batman. Not so many people know that Catwoman once rescued people from a building whilst still semi-criminal during "No Man’s Land."
So here's my AU. It tends toward more faithful to the DCAU. Stories will be added whenever I finish them, and in no kind of chronological order, though they are listed in chronological order.
