The Joker decides Jason Todd still being alive means that the punchline of one of his best jokes is no longer relevant, and captures Jason again to fix the oversight . When he finds out, Dick is determined to rescue Jason before the Joker breaks and kills him a second time. Rating for violence.

Notes
One of THE best Jason/Bruce stories I have ever read in my fandom life. Excellent characterization and descriptions. It's a definite must-read if you ship these two.
