He watches until he can't see Buster anymore before sighing and heading for home, a drive that feels like it takes forever. He makes a gigantic pile of tuna sandwiches and parks himself on the living room couch with Hobbes to stuff his face and watch a few episodes of Taboo. It's always nice to know that there are people in the world that are more fucked up than he is.
