Summary
Clint's been having nightmares ever since the whole thing with Loki only that was a year ago and he's sure that he should at least be past the nightmares by now- only his nightmares have nothing to do with what happened with Loki. Clint's nightmares are focused around something else, something he's not sure if it's a memory or just a nightmare. It's something dark and evil, but it's also something he feels like he needs to remember.
His entire life might be changed when a horrible inccident leads to the something in his past reawakening and coming back for him. It's dangerous and deadly but Clint can't help but feel that this presence is one that had at one time been the most important thing in his life.
As the reawakened presence slowly starts to reinsert itself into Clint's life the Avengers start to realized that whatever this thing is that it might end up taking away their archer and they won't let that happen.{Another horror cross over, because I'm getting tired of the same old, same old. Let's spice things up a bit.}

Bruce Banner befriends Tony Stark (not an orphan, but a precocious 7th grader and new friend of Bruce Banner's) at school and Steve Rogers decides that he and his friends make a pretty good team against jerks like Barney Barton and Loki. Tony Stark and Captain Steven Rogers never thought they would be parents. Sure, they've heard of other selves in other multi-verses having that kind of life, but it didn't occur to them it could actually happen, much less like this or with each other.
Really, though? This was probably the most plausible way for it to happen, even if it was a bit creepy. It was surprising, but after fighting giant robots and evil megalomaniacs on an almost daily basis, the only real question they had was, "Why does our offspring have to be a villain?"
