'He knew Loki’s beauty was a dangerous thing. Sharp and silver like the edge of the knife, and if he stepped too close to that beauty, if he tried to hold it and claim it as his own, Balder knew that beauty would cut him open, pierce him and steal everything he was.

After the events of the Avengers Odin ties Loki to Balder as punishment, hoping Balder the brave can help save Loki's tainted soul. Thor is not fond of this idea.
