But will it make their bonds stronger or tear them apart? And will it matter if Sherlock's demons pull him under first? An incredibly angst-filled adaptation of the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle novel. Essentially designed as a theoretical 'next episode' of the show.

Summary: John couldn’t pinpoint when Sherlock had begun to trust him. The closest he could get was to say it was somewhere between the day he shot a man dead on his behalf and the day he walked in on him dancing in his dressing gown in the living room of 221B.
Set myself the little challenge of writing a ficlet with a blatantly-autistic!Sherlock and most-likely-entirely-straight!John bromance. Also features an idea from my own headcanon, namely that Sherlock "justifies" his odder behaviour by claiming it's "for a case". Turned out fairly fluffy and innocuous.
