Summary
He needed her, needed to talk to her, needed to stop this bullshit dance they’d been practicing for the last few months. He’d known she was trying to push him away, and he’d let her. It was easier to be angry at her then ask the harder questions. Being angry at her made it easier to ingratiate himself with Jordan, with the Guard. Wrapping himself in the hurt had helped ease the guilt of having a relationship with Jordan. But it always came back to Audrey. Only ever Audrey. Having traveled to 1955 and seeing Sarah, being with her, he was more sure of that one single fact than ever it was always Audrey. For him and for Haven.
Audrey/Nathan romance, D/N/A friendship. Rated M for swearing, and (eventually) SEX! (x-posted to ff.net as author Queen Gwenyvere)

Summary
"With Audrey's hand on his shoulder it was hard to concentrate. Whenever she touched him it was disconcerting, but that didn't stop her. He was so unused to her touch that when her fingers laced with his, she kissed him on the cheek, or brushed past him, his skin tingled. It wasn't like taste or smell because it seemed much more tangible. Those first few months together he could barely concentrate, just like now.
Except now she wasn't his." -- Quote from the story.

Summary
The prompt was "post apocalypse au. Haven being one of the only places left where you can live in relative peace. maybe things go south and nathan and audrey run away into the woods and establish a secret base camp from which they watch the rest of the world fall apart. and then they have to repopulate the planet. so what you're actually writing is post apocalyptic camp haven au."
So that's what this is. In the style of Cormac McCarthy, kind of. -

It should have been surprise that he felt when he saw Audrey curled up against his

Summary
"The sky was alight with colors, bright oranges fading to light pinks as Audrey snuck around the side of, what Vince and Dave call, The Barn. Nathan followed her silently, gun drawn into his hand, smiling grimly. They weren't sure what they were going to find in the rundown, disappearing and reappearing barn, but both had their doubts. "
