Before there was Eckels, or the presidential election, or a butterfly that ruined the present by altering the past, there was Travis and Lesperance: two hunters that, some way or another, wound up to be time traveling hunting partners. This is their story.

Summary
Dean used to really like the little rhyme about humpty dumpty when he was a kid. He wasn't sure why. He figured it out later when he realized, perhaps when he was eight or nine or ten, that he shares a head and body with a guy who thinks he's an angel, that he had some great fall he can't remember, and that all the king's horses and all the king's men can't put him back together again. He was twelve when Sam told him he's the same. Throughout their lives, shuffled through mental hospitals, meds, and psychiatrists, Sam and Dean have clung tighter together against whatever secrets their minds have kept from them, and the blank spots in their memories in early childhood.
But sometimes shit happens, like Dean and Sam's dad dying of alcohol poisoning two weeks ago. Or Bobby, their father's well-meaning childhood friend and their new caretaker, forcing them to go to a youth group in the basement of Oaktree mental hospital. And this is a story about that, partially. It's about the blue-eyed boy who comes to support group and Dean falling in love for the first time and about everything falling down around him. It's about a lot of great falls and a lot of falling to pieces. -

Summary
This is a series of meta essays about diagnosing different Sherlock characters in reference to different psychiatric diagnosis manuals (like the ICD-10, DSM-IV-TR and OPD-2). I'm a psychotherapist in training and this is basically me using my newly acquired skills to evaluate fanon (Is Sherlock a socípath? Does John suffer from PTSD?), speculate about our heroes' personalities (Why exactly does Sherlock place heads in the fridge and John put up with it?) and formative experiences (What was John's homelife like? Who was Sherlock at university?).
This Part:
What Sherlock's (in)ability to cope with emotions and relationships tells us about his psychological structure and history.Series
