Summary
“So…I’m…dead..erm well…was dead” she mused to herself finding the whole concept ridiculous. How on earth could she have died? On another note, how in the hell was she alive!? If the tab in her hand was correct then she should have kicked the bucket 7 days ago, yet here she was inhaling oxygen, sitting on a metal table in a strange place that grimly reminded her of a war bunker. Jumping off the table, she began to explore the foreign place she’d woken up in.
At the edge of the room, there was a spiral stair case; using the hand rail as support she began to climb the stairs. At the top of the stairs the floor spread out before her, in the corner there was an platform cluttered in monitors and odd gadgetry. A map of the entire earth was spread out on a green translucent chalk board. The blond casually ran her fingers over it, feeling every ripple the map created on the board. Stepping away from the board she tapped on a key, causing the monitors to blare back to life. Startled she jumped back and stared blankly.Series
