Sherlock is Merlin, powerful, immortal, and bored out of his skull (both of them) waiting for King Arthur's return. John, on the other hand, is completely average. Sure, he's had odd dreams his whole life, and a bit of an obsession with Stonehenge, and now ravens are visiting him... but he's still a completely ordinary bloke. Really.

Summary
At the age of five, while gardening, Harry Potter is faced with three beautiful elven women who say they are from Avalon, and that they have a prophecy that pins him as their savior. They take him back with them and he is trained and prepared to battle a demon who has been sealed on the island for generations. At age 14, Harry battles the demon, pulling it through the mists and into the mortal realm to separate it from it's power so that he may kill it. It just so happens that the field he pulls it into is where the Malfoy's are performing their Midsummer rights, so they bare witness to the shocking event, and the death of a demon.
Lucius realizes who Harry is and strikes up a deal before sending Harry to Dumbledore.

Summary
An account of old Aquila's last battle : the Battle of Badon Hill, which led to forty years of peace between Saxon and Briton.
Aquila is the protagonist of The Lantern Bearers, which tells how his father's Roman British farm was burned by Saxon raiders, how he was seized as a thrall, returned to Britain, escaped and became one of the High King Ambrosius's commanders against the invading Saxon threat. There he met Ambrosius's young nephew Artos - who we now know as King Arthur.
When Ambrosius died, Artos took over as the leader of the remnant of Roman Britain, and Aquila went with him to fight at the great battle of Badon Hill, as the commander of what had been the High King Ambrosius's bodyguard. Thanks to Carmarthen for last minute beta reading.
