Eigentlich hatte Miss Bella Beutlin damit gerechnet das dies ein ruhiger Mai werden würde, wie eben jeder andere Mai auch in ihrem Leben.
Alles ändert sich jedoch als Gandalf sie zu einem Haarsträubenden Abenteuer einlädt und sie zu allem Übel auch noch mit dreizehn wilden Zwergen in die große, weite Welt hinaus schickt.Dabei war sie doch immer so gut in die Strukturen des Auenland eingebunden, schließlich ist sie ein Beutlin vom Beutels End.
