Summary
Organization XIII is the largest assortment of Heartless hunters in the worlds. Named for the thirteen hunters who founded it, their base is largely deemed the safest of all worlds, completely free of Heartless. However, it is off-limits to civilians, as is the Organization's other base, Castle Oblivion. The Heartless recently came under the guidance of a man named Ansem, and have since grown even more powerful and dangerous than before, attacking worlds with tactics instead of just blind hatred. Meanwhile, a new threat seems to appear when one of the Keyblade wielders goes missing. The only hint as to who the culprit is is the name "DiZ". A large team of the Organization's top hunters is dispatched to rescue her, but they too disappear without a trace. Adopting a different tactic, Keyblade Master Aqua and Vanitas are dispatched on a reconnaissance mission. Meanwhile, Ventus and Lea, who were tracking Heartless on a different world, find beings called "Nobodies" instead. A cloaked man called Riku that fought along with them refuses to tell them anything but their name, but tells them they will "find the truth at Castle Oblivion, but they won't remember it."
