Summary

Guardian angels are those that watch over their charges to make sure that everything that happens to them is all according to the plan and prevent events that shouldn’t happen. This means that if the charge wasn’t meant to be hurt, they must stop it from happening, It also means that if the charge must get hurt, then the guardian angel must let this happen.
Hiccup Haddock is Jack’s very first charge, having been assigned to the lad as early as five years since Jack’s existence as a guardian angel and because of this, it’s not unexpected that Jack grows fond of his charge as he watches him grow.
This isn’t acceptable, of course, because now that Jack adores his charge, he won’t let anything happen to Hiccup, whether it be according to the Will or not.

Steve Rogers hasn't really had a particularly easy life. He's struggled along, he's proud of himself, he's self-sufficient and capable and he works damn hard. He has friends and a purpose and he's only a few semesters from graduating college. He's managed, but his life has been far from easy.
That's mostly because of a slight filing error.
The last thing that Steve needed was someone to watch over him. The only thing that his Guardian Angel needs is a second chance to make a first impression.
