Summary
Charles is kicked out of the Westchester manor by his mother claiming he needs to learn “independence” and be truly on his own for the first time in his life. Heeding Sharon, he moves into a one-bedroom apartment in a building owned by superhusbands Tony and Steve Stark-Rogers, attempting to find a job and become a self-sufficient young mutant. With time, he comes to be acquainted with the building’s varied occupants and deal with the suicide of his sister Cassandra and his brother Martin running away from home years before the start of the story, along with his own depression and the turmoil-heavy times as mutants fight for their rights and say in government. Along with the apartment, comes the guardian cat statue, Ghost, and the out-of-body dreams he has many nights, during which he meets the spirits of the dead attached to the building or its residents.
Furthermore, Charles meets his grouchy upstairs neighbor, Erik Lehnsherr, who he finds himself falling in love with despite the man’s constant rebukes and scornful attitude toward monogamy. In the midst of Charles’ journey toward true independence and self-discovery, his brother’s surprise arrival threatens his progress and any further growth.

Summary
Erik is the grumpiest, most foul tempered worker at Stark industries. His grumpiness is the stuff of legends.
So it's obviously the talk of the office when Erik is being made to go to the company party and he's bringing his husband. There's rumors flying round about how much of a masochist or equally antisocial bastard Erik's husband must be to put up with him. Others think he must be a meek mouse perhaps bullied by Erik.
What they weren't expecting was the confident, charming, adorable and unbelievably nice Charles that turns up on Erik's arm. What they certainly weren't expecting was how much Erik obviously adores his husband and how happy he is to let others see this.

Charles has a terrible habit of multitasking, and that is probably why he absentmindedly tells the pizza man that he loves him when hanging up.

Summary
It never bothered Charles that he essentially belonged to someone else from birth. In fact, he felt quite the opposite. From birth he had been told stories about that mysterious boy called The Prince, or his Betrothed, and who one day would be called Husband. Charles would catch his thoughts drifting off while in private lessons under strict, stoic tutors, learning the piano under painful raps to the knuckles, locked away, looking at the sun through stained glass, his mind slipping into the hazy day dream of his life yet to come...

Summary
Written for the kmeme prompt: Charles is an incubus who feeds off sexual energy. However, such feeding can lead to the death of his bed partner, so Charles is always careful not to go too far and picks people he is only moderately attracted to. Then comes Erik who drives Charles absolutely wild. Charles is afraid of losing control and starts starving himself of energy which leads to him being sweaty and squirmy with constantly blown pupils, red-bitten lips, wandering eyes and lingering hands. Erik in turn goes crazy and eventually catches Charles in an alley with some random guy.

Bookmarker's Notes
God, yes! This writer gets Charles and Erik, even if Charles is a demon and they meet for the first time when Erik tries to hit on him! Charles is an intellectual (slut) who's painfully honest to Erik and Erik is the forceful and jealous bastard we all know and love. There is also plot and Azazel and a bit of the other characters, too.
