Before going to meet his doom at whatever plan Angel is cooking up to take on the Senior Partners, Spike decides he's going to get a taste of revenge on the Initiative doctor that put the chip in him all those years ago, a doctor that is now a Navy officer in jail awaiting trial in Washington DC. But that's no problem for a resourceful vamp like Spike. The problem is interfering Scoobies in the form of Xander Harris. And the NCIS cops that've been pulled into it. Summary: Vampire!Jim owes the McCoy family a debt of honor. Over the centuries, he finds himself drawn to various re-incarnations of McCoy, male and female. Will Jim atone for his sins and be able to persuade McCoy to be his, thereby ending his eternal loneliness, or will he be damned to continue his immortal life alone?
A/N: Partly inspired by Virginia Woolf’s ‘Orlando’ this is an homage to my favourite vampire TV shows and movies. The story begins in 18th century New Orleans, and continues through Victorian London, modern day Los Angeles and Virginia, war-scarred, early 22nd century Iowa and finally, 23rd century Iowa and San Francisco. Throughout, I play with all my favourite vampire tropes, make up some science (magic?), and use every McCoy name variation out there - all in the name of epic love! Each chapter has its own flavour - I hope you enjoy it!
Please note that this is only slightly a crossover - the main characters are AU Kirk/McCoy but vampire!Jim takes us through the UNIVERSE of the various shows I love, so, for example, The Angel chapter is about them, not team Angel etc.
