Summary
A challenge thrown out by combination-nc over on Tumblr, to explore a single character or theme in the Dragon Age universe through 26 drabbles, each one named after a letter of the alphabet. Irresistible challenge was irresistible, and I (to the surprise of no one) started writing about Justice.
Will try to update daily, but we'll see how dedicated I actually am.

Again, courtesy of Combination_NC. Anders and Fenris are my dearest two characters, so I actually started their alphabets together, but I was going to wait to introduce Anders' - then decided, why should I? So now anyone who is interested gets two alphabets to look forward to. High rating, again, because I just don't know what'll come up.

This is an indulgence, plain and simple; Varric Tethras' journals. Not even intended to be as clean as most of my stories, and sometimes more observationally-minded than not, but, as I said, a personal indulgence.
I have so many weird tags because I never know what to expect with journals - and relationships will be updated as they come in since, again, I don't know what to expect. Karl is the first person he connects with then, and later becomes many other different kinds of first to him; each others' light in the grey prison.
More than half a lifetime later in the Kirkwall Chantry, he forces himself to free Karl from a crueller prison still.
Years later he reduces that Chantry to dust, the last hope in his heart one of freedom for mages everywhere.
