Summary
Written for a prompt: Hawke killed Anders after the Chantry explosion. It's been somewhere between sixteen to eighteen years after, and Hawke's tried to move on despite the heartbreak stemming from Anders' actions. And then Hawke meets reincarnated Anders. Anders came back to give life a second try, his new incarnation just isn't aware of it. Yet.

"How about an AU where Hawke decided, nah, The Deep Roads just weren't for him (I mean, they're all, you know, dark and stuff, and I hear there are these, like, huge spiders!), and that the seedy underbelly of Kirkwall's crime scene is where the real money's at.
At any rate, Hawke has a drop set up one night wherever, and who should come traipsing along, ruining the exchange, but a certain apostate mage.

Why, anon, Hawke threw Anders in chains, of course. Chains, leather, and magebane laced with aphrodisacs.
Think Goodfellas, The Godfather, and Mafia (the game) meets Dragon Age, but no real crossover. A lot of it very much tongue-in-cheek.

Summary
Steampunk AU — Thedas has evolved since the old ages, along with its technological advancements. Being born with magic is now a social stigma, mages are no longer powerful and feared, and the old arts are forgotten. Nobleman Garrett Hawke is about to marry to an influential Kirkwall family, but he now faces the fact that he possesses some of these ancient powers, and must seek help to control and hide his raw magic before the marriage plans crumble to dust. Rumors about a miraculous healer bring him to Darktown, but his journey is cut short when he becomes tangled in a struggle between technology, magic, politics and idealism. Kirkwall is facing impending doom as more and more magical events occur, and people can no longer rely on the things they know to fight back. Bringing back the knowledge of ancient times seems to be the last resort for all, but can anyone rise to the challenge and save the City of Chains?

Summary
“Through adversity to the stars.” A proud, prickly mage meets a proud, prickly mage-hating elf, and, after a shaky start, they find they have more in common than they'd first realised. Together, they undertake a journey of acceptance, growth and understanding, but the road is long and strewn with pitfalls and obstacles. A possessed, troubled healer and whispers of insurrection and war in Kirkwall only add to their woes, but the deep love Hawke and Fenris develop for each other will withstand the sorest of trials.

Hawke and Anders love each other, but sometimes love just isn't enough. The relationship dissolves despite their best efforts, and it's mutual.
Written in response to a prompt on the Dragon Age Kink Meme, requesting 'Hawke/Anders Pre-Act III Break-up Fic'.
Prompt Summary: Everything good comes to an end. Hawke doesn't laugh and Anders doesn't smile anymore. Hawke is cold as ice after the death of his/her mother, and Anders is more obsessed than ever with his manifesto and freeing the mages. Everyone sees it, including Hawke and Anders. Any class of Hawke, and, for the sake of the greatest amount of angst, let's say that Bethany AND Carver are dead.
