Enter: Annabeth Chase amazing battle strategist and gray eyed beauty, now dead. Enter: Perseus (Percy) Jackson, once care free and amazing swordsman now haunted and grief stricken boy grown into a man too fast. Then you mix this with The Avengers, 6 highly skilled people (for the most part) working for the S.H.I.E.L.D. Last, Nick Fury Director of S.H.I.E.L.D and a super creepy guy. Cassia Amell, Warden, Mage and, as of recently, apostate. Working with Anders in Darktown in Kirkwall was probably not the safest or smartest plan, where the veil is thin, where Templars are ever vigilant, where gangs roam the streets at night. It is not an ideal set up, but Cassia intends to make the most of it - after all, she didn't want to become a Warden, but it became one of the best decisions of her life. The same could happen here, with a refugee, a dwarf, a pirate queen, a blood mage, a Chantry brother and a certain broody elf who dislikes mages. Greatly.

And as he is trapped away for several years, he finally comes back, back to the place he once called home. Will he be able to readjust and continue on as a bright symbol of heroism or will he be dragged down by his past, unable to find the light again?
OR: Izuku gets kidnapped at the age of 5 and returns back after 10 years of hardships.
Will hasn't gotten a present for Christmas in a long time. Forget believing in Santa; he hasn't gotten a gift from anyone at all since his mother died when he was very young, leaving his drunk father to raise him. They don't even bother with a Christmas tree. Christmas is nothing more to him than a chance to earn some extra cash selling trees at the lot in town.
So when one night he makes a wish for his father to die, he doesn't think anything of it. That is, until a terrifying monster clamors down the chimney, kills his father, and chases him out into a deadly blizzard, running for his life. Then he wakes up in a strange town, with strange people, who walk with bells on their shoes and have pointed ears...
