In a world where NEXT are hated almost as much as they are feared, few escape being auctioned off as slaves. Kaburagi Kotetsu is one of those lucky few. Once a coordinator of the largest Safe House for escaped slaves in Sternbild, he's given all that up since his wife's death. Now he keeps his head down, for his daughter's sake, and tries not to walk past Market Street.
Until one night, when a strange pale-haired man escapes captivity and winds up bleeding and broken on Kotetsu's doorstep. And he has a lot of strange ideas about how the world should be run...

Summary

He's been told that Lord Stark takes pleasure slaves, and bitter, grieving, and terrified, he expects nothing more of a northerner. But months pass, and Stark does nothing. In a rapidly unfolding chaos of scheming politics and a clockwork world, Steve begins to wonder what sort of man Stark is-- and whether he'd mind being a pleasure slave at all.

Young Sherlock was given to Johnny when they were both toddlers, Sherlock being sold into slavery when he was just a baby. John's precious, dark haired slave has suffered greatly at the hands of the slavery pound handlers, but that is the past now, and they grow up together in different worlds yet both so close. It's not easy however, and pet Sherlock has a knack at driving away John's girlfriends. That doesn't matter though, because they'll always have each other, and soon after tragedy occurs, master and slave realize their unconventional relationship has just grown much more unconventional. Since when does an owner fall in love with his pet?
