Summary
The Inter-House Challenge: also known as the bane of John Watson's existence. He turned the card over in his hands once more- emerald green, the stock heavy- and eyed the spidery silver scrawl on it with more trepidation than seemed reasonable. A lot of other boys were mentoring Slytherins, so why should he be so nervous?
John sat down on the edge of his bed, the card in his hands, and stared at the name written there. If he were honest with himself, he knew he wasn't worried because the boy was a Slytherin, or a pureblood, or wildly wealthy. He was worried because the boy was Sherlock Holmes.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Follows a similar plot to A Study in Pink. John is a sixth-year, Sherlock a fifth-year, but that doesn't mean that Auror Lestrade doesn't need their help once a wizard begins poisoning Muggles in what Muggle police falsely believe to be serial suicides.(This work is now complete, but because I do my own beta-ing I'll be doing some minor tweaking and editing until I consider it as flawless as I can manage.)

Sherlock closed his hand around the orange pips, looking thoughtful. "Five pips. Five puzzles. There are five Quidditch games remaining this year." He smiled a little and shook his head, looking at the pips wonderingly. "Interesting."

Sherlock has an admirer who likes to play his own sort of game, using the golden snitch as a timer.(Based around the plot of The Great Game, although not identical. You'll probably want to read the first two parts of the series, even if you've seen the show.)

Summary
When the children of Britain begin to go missing without a trace, it's time to call in the country's best and brightest.
Sherlock Holmes, the world's only consulting detective, along with Dr. John Watson, are asked to take on the case. But there are elements involved that are outside the realm of even Sherlock's understanding. When two strangers show up on the doorstep of 221B, calling themselves Aurors, Sherlock and John must quickly come to terms with the world of magic.
Harry Potter, head Auror, is more than willing to lend a hand to the consulting detective and his blogger. His partner, the cynical Draco Malfoy, is much less inclined to adapt to the Muggles, especially since it seems that the kidnappings have no ties to the magical world. When Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger join the team, will a balance be struck in time to save the children and catch the culprit?

Summary
"Interesting day?"
John looked down at the mess on his shirt and wrinkled his nose at the memory. "I had a row," he sighed, looking back up and meeting Sherlock's eyes, "with my practice Potions' cauldron."
"You had a row with a cauldron?" Sherlock's eyebrow lifted delicately.
"In a manner of speaking."
Smiling, Sherlock disappeared behind his papers again, his voice quiet but edged with humour as he said, "I suspect the cauldron won that round."
---------------------------------------
John visits Gringott's for the first time, gets a beard- ahem, girlfriend- and learns a little about Sherlock's past as the twosome try to solve a smuggling case. Plot will be similar (but not identical) to that of The Blind Banker.
(Reading the first part would be preferable, but not necessarily required if you've seen the show and read HP. You might be a little lost, but I think you'll manage.)(This work is now complete, but because I do my own beta-ing I'll be doing some minor tweaking and editing until I consider it as flawless as I can manage.)
