Summary
Instead of meeting the Batter and purifying the land, the Player is paired off with Dedan to help run Zone 1. With the additional hands helping him, Dedan becomes less of an asshole, although he still has bouts of screaming rage when faced with incompetent Elsen. His Player doesn't rise to his rage, keeps him calm, and generally helps keep the stress from killing Dedan earlier than natural.
Dedan eventually comes to rely on his Player (even though he won't admit it; pride thing) and when the Player abruptly vanishes one day, Dedan says 'fuck that noise' and goes out to find them and remind them of where they belong and who they belong to.

This story will deal with an hurt Gerontius Took, thain of the Shire, his angry grandson Bilbo, and a proud dwarven king that needs to "sell out" his family to save his people.
The dwarrows have settled in the Blue Mountains after Smaug stole their kingdom. Although Hobbits are happy folk unfortunate circumstances leave the relationship between these to groups somehow chilled and even slightly hostile. But when the dwarrows - who have really not much clue about growing and harvesting - find themselves nearly starved to death, they are forced to reach out for help.
And the thain of the Shire is willing to grant it, under one condition!

Boromir and Faramir Steward, toil in the war machine despite steadily growing reservations about their masters. Masters who want to still keep them on their side and will do so at any means necessary, including sending them the most coveted omegas in order to do so.
But Aragorn and Eowyn won't submit and Boromir and Faramir won't be bought.
So now that they have come to an understanding, they must figure out where to go from there.
