Summary
"You know what? Yesterday--if it was just yesterday, and not, say, six months ago--I was watching my partner kick yet another door in and I was thinking that the only things I had to worry about were Steve getting us killed, Grace's eventual dating, and if I was ever going to find an apartment that wasn't infested with cockroaches, black mold or ghosts of old ladies in funny hats. And now, suddenly, I find out that the entire fucking universe is a giant terrarium project populated with aliens that want to kill us. And you two, apparently, live in another galaxy and don't seem to think there's anything weird about that. Does that sum up the situation here? Or did I miss something?"
(Direct sequel to Visible.)

Summary
Written for the following prompt: Erik is an aggressive, dangerous, cynical mutant, hardened from years of being passed through private laboratories and used for experimentation. He's covered in surgical scars from operations, tattooed and bar coded like a lab rat, and blind from an experiment done on his eyes. ... Charles Xavier finds out about him. Charles runs a sort of sanctuary for mutants that provides lost, abandoned, abused, runaway mutants with shelter, comfort, and help with ability control. He thinks he can rehabilitate Erik and save him from execution, and convinces the government that he can.
When Erik arrives, he is a lot worse than Charles thought he would be ... Everyone else can see that Erik is a nuclear bomb waiting to go off, but Charles refuses to give up on him. ...
The first time Charles sneaks up on him wearing no metal, it triggers him and he reacts instinctively, with violence. ... Erik discovers why Charles understands him so well: he was once used in experiments as well, experiments run by his own family, and in one of them, he lost his voice, so he uses his telepathy to communicate.
Blind Erik, mute Charles, the love.

Written for a prompt at the kinkmeme: "John's the one missing for three years to take down Moriarty...everyone still thinks he's dead. The 5 times someone thought they saw JW in 221B after his death, and the one time he was actually back." This drifts slightly from the prompt, but that's the basic story.

Summary
It has been two months since Sam and Jessica followed a vision and rescued Dean from certain death, and the physical wounds have mostly healed. But lingering questions still trouble the new relationship they have forged and two months is six weeks more of doing nothing than Dean can handle gracefully. What should be an easy recovery of stolen items in South Carolina looks to be the perfect opportunity to try their new dynamic in the field, but things that look easy are often deceptive. Between cursed jewelry, madness, and the involvement of a shadowy organization they have been warned repeatedly to avoid, the repercussions they face are like nothing they could have ever imagined. This story is a direct sequel to Midnight Of the Century
