Sam laughs and Dean shoots him one of those brotherly looks that says I will cut you, bitch. Stiles could be paraphrasing, though. He’s good at that. “How much do you know about curses?”

The cafe was booming with customers and Stiles couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed as she worked the cashier. She resorted to working the total on the back of a receipt roll and thanked God that the tray was still functioning, because who knew where else she would store the money.

When Derek told him he wasn't Pack because he was human, he didn't even try and bring Allison into it, who was in fact a human but also a huntress. A very dangerous one. She was also Scott's girlfriend, therefore Pack by association. His connection was too Scott and evidently, being just a best friend wasn't concrete enough to be brought into the fold.
