Summary
He’d put all those murderers under the water. He had been the one to kill them even though his had not been the hands that had taken their lives. Somehow, it didn’t seem fair that Matt should be frightened by them. It didn’t seem just either that he still felt so angry that he burned white hot on the inside from it, or that he was almost sick with a guilt that was black as bile.
Like Jackson, he had an undeniable connection to water, but everything was backwards and made a different sort of sense.

The right hand of the managing partner Derek Hale is one quiet, proud and secretly hurt Isaac Lahey who is a damn good lawyer, has sarcasm for second language and basically lives for his job. Until the firm co-manager Lydia Martin hires family friend Scott McCall and of course it falls on Isaac to baby-sit the newcomer. A lot of puppy eyes, inapropriate thoughts and coffee bribing ensue.

A series of supernatural attacks suggests that a new (non-wolfish) entity is threatening the citizenry of Beacon Hills. Derek and Stiles have to figure out what it is while Scott and Allison have to come to terms with the nature of their new relationship status. All of this happens on a rather awkward, double date-ish outing that includes pizza, slavic folklore, and a special guest appearance from an old friend.

It doesn’t hit Stiles right away. It never does. He does what he always has done. He shoves it deep down inside of himself—down with the rest of his faulty emotional rubble, splintered hyperactive personality and ill-begotten reminiscent ruins. He shoves it down until he feels like he can forget it—like he can pretend again. He spits twice when his stomach stops heaving and he scrubs at his mouth with his jacket sleeve. Then he staggers back to his jeep, climbs in and continues his driving. ARGENT AU. COMPLETE.
