Summary: Any time you hear the Brigadier mentioned in nu!Who, he still pretty much runs U.N.I.T. but is "stuck in Peru" and can't make it back for whatever big event is going down. Nicholas Courtney passed away earlier this year, as did Elisabeth Sladen and Roy Skelton, who was the original voice of the Daleks. So they're all...STUCK IN PERU.

Summary
An expansion of Part two of 'Four Times Torchwood Discovers Ianto's an Immortal and One Time They Don't.' You do not need to read that in order to appreciate this.
During the Battle for Canary Wharf, UNIT workers discover Ianto's Immortality and take him to a 'research lab.' His student watches horrified as they take him away and sets out to gain his rescue. Enter Torchwood-Three. After his rescue and recover, Ianto decides to stay and see if he can help Jack out.
