Post-rift, Charles and Erik are forced together due to some threat endangering mutantkind and find out that the only way to save everyone is to have a child together (bottom!Charles) as the two of them have the combination of genes to create the "perfect" mutant savior.Erik basically jumps at the chance to be with Charles again and save mutantkind. Charles is desperate to save the mutants but can't feel right about the situation even though he loves Erik but no one is giving him a choice
To save mutant kind Charles Xavier, traitor to the Empire, must have the child of the most powerful mutant:Erik Lehnsherr. It's not as much as a hardship as Charles' wishes it to be.
