Like, openly-admit-he’s-crushing-hard-but-refuse-to-actually-do-anything-about-it-because-the-age-difference-is-too-great guilty. And Ray’s sure it wouldn’t be a big deal if he were in the same boat as Joel, if he were super insecure about his age and acutely aware of how much older Joel is, if he wasn’t able to dream about Joel in serial killer mode having his wicked way with the achievement hunter without feeling guilty the morning after, but as it is, Ray is none of these things and he usually wakes up with a grin on his face after such dreams, so if anything Joel’s hesitance is just really, really annoying and slightly off putting (but mostly just annoying).
