Stiles observes pausing mid-changing to glance at his best friend. It sounds like a statement, his voice flat. Still, Scott recognises that tone, recognises Stiles' uneasiness in his shifting stance, his flickering gaze. Recognises the way Stiles wets his lips and sucks them in to keep the words from spilling; an unexpected mesmerising display. Scott feels as if his vision is zooming in but he still manages to raise his brows accompanied by slightly widened eyes in response to Stiles' declaration. Or in response to how he cannot rip his gaze off that spit shiny mouth, he wouldn't know.

A Sterek (and Scisaac) based parody of Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice". Written in the voice of Jane Austen, not the voice of Teen Wolf, and following the original text very closely. Bascially names and pronouns are changed, and there is the normal strategic product placement associated withTeen Wolf, but otherwise this is Austen. It is remarkable how little the characters have to change to fit with the Austen novel - although Lydia Martin and Melissa McCall get a bit of a rough deal in the translation. Scott, Isaac, Stiles and Derek match the character types very well, however - personality traits have not changed that much over the centuries. January 2013 marks the 200 year anniversary of the publication of Pride and Prejudice.

The woods was a second home to him a place to hide his kills and to take off the innocent mask of little red and bask in the glory of the darkness hidden inside his wide doe eyes. And if he happens to find a murderous wolf prowling around… Well, what better way to get rid of the evidence that his darkness left behind. And if the Alpha seemed to stick around after that…Well, Stiles always had a soft spot for tall males with a penchant for murder. Like seriously dark and fucked up Stiles/Derek.
