Summary
Rav Caldwell, the rosh yeshiva of Sha'arei ha-Kochavim, was standing with his arm around the new guy. Who was dressed more-or-less exactly like everyone else: black trousers, white shirt, though it seemed to Rodney that he might have left one more button undone at the top of the shirt than was strictly kosher here. Black velvet kippah pinned securely over a fairly obvious cowlick.

Percy Weasley has been one of my favorite Harry Potter characters since PoA was first released in the States (the book, that is, not the movie) and my absolute favorite since GoF. I love fics that torture the characters that I adore.

The classic take on vampires has always been a secret liking and this story brings all the cliche goodness to the fore while setting of the AU beautifully. Nothing's throwaway and all the players are there. It's worth a read and a hope that there will be more.
