    Summary

    'In months or years to come, Merlin thinks, he’ll look back on his reaction to probably the worst news he’d ever heard and think ‘God, I was a prat’. That’s his first thought. His second thought is that screw that, he probably won’t even be around in months or years to come, and now doesn’t he feel stupid. But he can’t help the fact that the first thing he thought when the doctor looked him in the eyes like he was trying to search for a cure within the very core of Merlin’s being was ‘they’re never on their own in the films’.'

    Or, in which Merlin Emrys, 26, is diagnosed with cancer and told he has a 50% chance of survival. His annoyingly pessimistic friends team up to try and help him make the most of what little time they believe he has left, but Merlin's not so keen on giving up, and neither is his best friend, Arthur.

    Partially based on the 2011 film '50/50'. WIP.
