Summary
“Why do you have Lifetime on here?” Adams demands, but Tom notices he obediently goes back to channel 632, where John Oliver is still talking about Adams’s more nursery-rhythmic qualities. Adams swears and mutes the TV.
“I find 'The Joan and Melissa Rivers Story' to be both heartwarming and inspirational,” Dr. Franklin replies.

Full of squee and sweetness. No one really gets together, but John is prickly and Tom is indulgently, adorably drunk.
Tom peers around the tavern; it is, indeed, almost empty, save for a few barmaids collecting mugs and a snoring shape in one corner. “Is that Mr. Read?”“The one and only,” Adams replies. “Now. Up.”
“Down is more comfortable.”
“Yes, but up involves a bed, and water. And perhaps a change of clothes,” Adams adds.
This is sound reasoning, and Tom makes every effort to sort out his limbs. He is largely unsuccessful. “I think down may be safer,” he says.
“Incredible. This," Adams growls, "Is the genius behind the most celebrated document of our time."

SO CUTE. I kind of love the idea of an Abigail who's like, "No, seriously, HAVE SEX WITH MY MAN, JEFFERSON. He's so much better behaved with regular smexing!"
