Note: This is the sequel to Rider of the Mark and is the second part of the Rohirric series In the Appendixes of the Return of the King, Tolkien states that in the last days of the Third Age, Éomer, King of Rohan married Lothiriel, Princess of Dol Amroth. He also states that they had at least one child – a son, who greatly favored his maternal grandfather. He does not give specifics – was it a love match, a political match, an arranged marriage? He ends up showing him quite a bit more, which Boromir finds a bit surprising but apparently not objectionable. Also, a rather older Eomer and Boromir debate over whose responsibility it is to make the floor stop misbehaving.
