A lot of people do Sentinel crossovers and make someone in the other fandom a Sentinel; this is the only series I know of which assigns Sentinelship on the basis of who seems more fitting to have hyperactive senses, not who is more equivalent to Jim in the buddy-show paradigm. (e.g., for the SGA characters, McKay is the Sentinel and Sheppard is the Guide. Can you imagine McKay as a Guide? What a terrible idea. Anyway.)
