If I ever go and attempt to finish Torchwood past season one, despite the events I was spoiled for in CoE that made me throw my hands up in despair and go "UM NOPE NO THANKS I DON'T ACTUALLY NEED MORE TRAUMA IN MY LIFE," it will be because of this series. FULL STOP.

Post-COE fic that serves as a fixit as well as an explanation for Jack's missing two years and continues significantly past that into a lovely futurefic series. Mostly Janto, with John Hart, Jenny/Alice Carter (yay, femslash!), and a plethora of original aliens that make it into a really complete universe. I'm not one to read series because they often feel too much like incomplete fics, but each here is a perfectly fine stand alone (though I can't fathom why you wouldn't want to read them all!). The only thing I could possibly want more from this is more Jenny/Alice--the first fic is mostly them, but the focus in the third is pretty heavily Ianto, so it's naturally more Jack/Ianto-centric. I'd love to see more of the girls' relationship developing, and what impact Ianto's "gift" had on their fledgling transition from intimate friends to ~more. Truly fantastic. I'm figuring out the bookmark feature on AO3 entirely so I can be sure not to miss any future parts of this.
