Description:

There is an unremarkable-looking and unmarked wooden door with a slightly rusted handle and smoothly oiled hinges, and it always leads to a pub.

Notes:

This is starling's brainchild, and the wonderful descriptions are all her:

"It leads to a pub from a brick wall behind a bus stop in Islington, from a subway in Manhattan, from the side of a skyscraper in Shanghai. It leads to a pub from inside the toilet cubicle on an aeroplane, from the surface of the moon, from backstage at the Globe. It leads to a pub from the walls of Troy, from behind tapestries in Camelot, from the golden walls of the temple of El Dorado. It leads to a pub from a seventh-floor corridor in a boarding school, from inside boxes hurtling through time, from a hundred different types of afterlife.

It leads to a pub from glittering cities of filth and maddeningly tiny villages, from snow-capped mountains and steaming poisonous jungles, from tents in the vast red waste of the desert and from ships afloat on the merciless expanse of ocean.

It leads to a pub from wherever you are for the space of minutes or millennia, and if you find it gone then you could search a lifetime and never find that door again."
