Description:

For War and Trickery have been, and always will be, entwined.

The tale of Sif and Loki through their centuries.

Notes:

About a year ago, I undertook the task of writing the untold story of Sif and Loki throughout their centuries. It started as one work - "steel in your hand" - my pride and joy and all of my feelings, which came as a result as simply wanting more after being introduced to all of the intricacies that was Loki and his brain. These two stole my heart and my soul, and then that combined with my life long interest in mythology and folklore to create this series - which very much is a mash-up of myth, legend, comic, and film - stretching from their time as children, to Loki's stint as both villain and hero, to Ragnarök and beyond (eventually, at least).

In short, my Steel!Verse is a rapidly growing string of stories that looks to go on even longer still - seeing as how my muse is completely smitten. Now, seeing as how that could quickly get confusing, I decided to finally make a series for it - which was quite the challenge, seeing as how these stories are written out of chronological order, and then mixed and matched to the extreme, but, I did my best.

Let me try to explain the order a little bit more -

1. "steel in your hand", is part I
2. "bid the soldiers shoot", part II
3. "you would come", part III,
4. "to have and to hold", Part IV

5. "envelop bones like new skin", is set within "steel in your hand", and novel length
6. "tall with hard long eyes", is also set within "steel in your hand", during their adolescent years
7. "at the gallows, an about face", is a missing moment for the film, which would also fit into the timeline of “steel in your hand”
8. "I know the shape your shadow takes", is a missing moment, set Pre-Avengers

And that's it . . . for now. The muse has a few more long pieces planned for this 'verse, and a scattering of one-shots, so that list will be updated over time.

Thank-you for stopping by, and while reading, I hope you have as much fun with this ridiculous, accidental ship as I did while writing them.

Enjoy!
