So this isn't all strict Johnlock, but holy hell what a series! This is the first time I've found myself genuinely appreciative of the Mystrade pairing, and as delicious as the (eventual) Johnlock was, I thought the way the author wrote Greg Lestrade was nothing short of brilliant. A great read.

quite possibly, the best Mycroft character study. also, made me a believer in Mycroft/Lestrade pairing. Also, all the Sherlock/John feels. Read this series, bookmark it, love it, and then reread as you wait for the next story. TL;DR: fucking amazing series, do not miss.
