In a seemingly endless war between the nations of Kowas and Alternia, technology and tradition clash and fuse in an array of complex and intruiging ways. Caught in the midst of this is a young girl, a Maid, a Prince, a Duke, a Traitor, and an Instigator. Around them opposing forces vie for violent chaos or a peaceful resolution. The key question: when an entire culture is built around conquering another's, how can peace possibly exist?
