Nice to know I'm not the only one who thinks it! Though I realize there are reasons we can't have it, I'd love to see Irene again - and at least this way, we know she's out there. I haven't read the fic you mentioned myself (as I'm not part of the CM fandom), but I'll save it for when I do finally watch the show, so thanks for that rec!
