Gosh I'm not used to giving suggestions for stories, I am Afraid I'll suggest something silly v/////v
But I shall give a good what-for
This is for when they get past Terezi- Karkat is just like YOLO and bolts through the main part of the home/castle/giant place with Gamzee at his heels disturbing preperations (Assuming that it isn't a too terribly long way) Dodging guards hiding in vents, curtains, or going the slave way, ect. And everybody is all kind stunned, till Terezi runs past chasing them.
And maybe eventually She would join with them after Karkat convinces the Crazy blind- Drow that no hes not going to murder the high prince..
And this may or may not be Important but for characters you don't have listed I kinda have thoughts of what they'd be doing:
Tavros has two places I see him: either as a slave, or (an option I favor more) is that he is an assistant for Equius (Who goes around working on items in need of fixing) and he secretly works on robotics (Which I know it isn't a D&D thing but I imagine him tinkering with things when he was little, and going "hmm connects this and that makes it work on it's own.") And he made Tavros' robot legs and that's why Tavros follows him/ lives with him, because hes quite grateful, and even though Equius denies it he's grown a fondness of the peasant. And of course Nepeta lives with them. She likes prowling the caves looking for monsters and testing her might, and thinks of the other two as her brothers. And there all a merry happy band, and I see them eventually going to the upper world, searching for adventure, and looking for change, and Nepeta ends being quite good a bartering, and haggling, so there is always jobs for them, or a bit of coin, to get.
Gosh I do believe I have gone quite enough with that, I have feels for this story already, and am imaging scenarios, for characters whom might not even been in it. But I do love It already, and I hope it continues to get better and better. <3
That was not silly at all, it was a valid (if lengthy!) suggestion. :)
For the characters not yet mentioned, I already have plans. You will note that the characters not appearing thus far are all the ones who are at this point in canon DEAD. Since this story is following on from canon (until its inevitable jossing and simultaneous conversion to an AU), in this story those characters all died before the current universe was created.
This does not mean that they will not be in the story. In fact, it seems increasingly likely that they will be, if only to thank MASK for a lot of hard work. But they will be NPCs rather than PCs, which means that they will act at the whim of the GM (me) rather than the Players (you). I still enjoyed seeing your analysis there and it's a very good one: if they were PCs, I hope I would have thought to do something like that for them. And whoever told you D&D can't have robots is a damned liar who has never heard of golems- the original, magical robot! I've been using a tech savvy ==> arcane magic talent conversion thus far anyways. :)
