  1. Holy smackeral, Batman! That is BEAUTIFULLY written and a fantabulously sick and twisted little tale. I like how spare it is, it keeps the tension tight and very erotically charged. This is one of the BEST depictions of what seems to go on in Moriarity's head: his love/hate of Sherlock and John as individuals and as two people who love and care about each other (and haven't we ALL felt that for some couple we know: admired and wanted and HATED them because we weren't part of it) and you just drew that out to an extreme. Best way to make a bad guy: take what makes anybody feel bad feelings and draw it out....)

Girl, you have GOT to let me know when you post stuff because otherwise I miss it.

Thank you! That's meaningful to me because I really wanted to write a good Moriarty. Or, well, a successfully horrifying one.

Best way to make a bad guy: take what makes anybody feel bad feelings and draw it out...

Exactly! It's not like we don't all have the thoughts and feelings sometimes. The difference is that most of us don't act on it.

It's kind of funny, you know. The prompt I filled with this story expressed hope for sexytiems. I couldn't make it fit, but it seems to have ended up sexier without it. ^_^

AO3 has the 'subscribe' buttons working for authors and multi-chapter fics! I've been abusing the crap out of mine. :D (I felt similar shock when I saw you'd posted two new stories that I'd missed, but NO MORE shall I suffer such indignities!)
