  1. I'm really enjoying this!

I'm only halfway through, but this provided much needed distraction for me today. I really like the bodyswap idea and the weirdnesses Jin is experiencing being in this different body. :-) And Jin's mom's stealth visit was brilliant.

    1. Yay! Backreading Twitter tells me it's been another day of trains for you, so I can see why the distraction might be useful. Glad you're enjoying it so far! Bodyswap is a fun concept for me to play with, working out all the little details where being in someone else's body can really cause some issues. :-) Jin's mom, of course, is awesome.

      1. I really enjoyed the rest of this too. (And enjoyed it earlier in the week, I have to admit, only I was almost as busy as you. *g*) I loved Koki as Kame's roommate and Koki following Jin, and Jin accidentally almost doing the soul transfer (whoops!) and the BATHROOM STALL INTERLUDE.

I also confess I'd have loved it if they'd gotten physical in some way while still in the wrong bodies, I'd have found that very intriguing. But I also really liked the way you wrote the blood drinking at the end, that was incredibly sensual and despite not being a 'big deal' in terms of drama, it felt very intense and very close.

And It's like...uh...labelling your food in the fridge so your roommates don't poach it. was possibly my favourite thing. *g*

        1. Is there any month this year when you're not travelling at some point? I admire your stamina - I think I'd be a zombie by this point! I love Koki and Kame as roommates too. ^_^ I think of all of them, Koki would probably be the easiest to live with (provided you liked animals), and he'd let Kame get away with murder. Okay, so in this case, murder is actually their job...

If anyone is going to accidentally kickstart a soul transfer and almost screw things up, it's bound to be Jin. At the worst possible moment, too.

Them getting physical while in the wrong bodies would've been interesting to write, but possibly a bit too weird for them to deal with. I was very conscious that they don't have a lot of time to get to know each other - it took me till about halfway through, but I eventually figured out that this was going to end with the potential for them to be doing other things, just not during the story itself. The blood drinking is the substitute, I guess.

Not like Koki is showing much interest in poaching Jin, thank goodness...

Thank you for comments! Always much appreciated. :-)
