   I like the idea of Edmund and Susan as the dark ones in the family. They survive well together, because they are so similar, but I can see how they're hollow without Peter or Lucy for balance.

      thank you! they're my favorites, and they're definitely the surviving sort. whether they'd remain mentally stable is another question entirely.
