Aw, thanks. I haven't ever written much original fiction. TBH, I sort of tried to write when I was younger, and got frustrated with my sucking (my taste outmatching my ability, I think). Fanfiction kind of gave me permission to write again. The idea of writing an original story or novel or the like is intimidating, but perhaps I'm ready to give that a go sometime.
I always looked at fanfiction as the training wheels of writing - LOL! It gives you the support and the confidence you need to get started. Some pro writers might look down at it, but I know LOTS of fanficcers that have gone on to make a living at this stuff. :)
